Just for fun and nothin' meant

I've given in and joined the Twitter crowd. Even if you don't have your own Twitter account (if you do, I'd love if you'd follow me), popping by to check out my account every once in a while will keep you up-to-date with new songs I'm listening to but either haven't got around to writing about yet or bits of news that feel too short for the blog. Lately I've been mentioning the second single from Najoua Belyzel's new album, the Mylene Farmer-dedicated "M (Hey Hey Hey)"...

...a new Blake Lewis song, "Binary Love" (on writer/producer Carl Ryden's MysSpace), which isn't as good as "Heartbreak On Vinyl" but is still OK...

...and the FANTASTIC, GORGEOUS middle eight to Britney's new single "3." Sweet and lovely, in a slightly "Brave New Girl" way.

Heartbreak In Vinyl may well debut at number one on my chart this week (full Will Young leak pending!!)

I love Brave New Girl - I'd never heard anybody else talk about it!

Wow, Brit's new song about a threesome. Very inspired, right? Still, it's got a great beat and will probably do very well for her.

I also don't love "Binary Love" as much as "Heartbreak On Vinyl" but it's way better than I anticipated. Probably a grower.

Paul, that's a BRILLIANT idea! I should go do that. Blake better enjoy that #1 if it happens--it's probably the highest rank he'll pull anywhere.

Aaron, maybe because it's just so sweet and cute (musically) compared to the rest of that album? I love it.

I know, the subject matter is frustrating in the sense that it's not nearly as controversial as it thinks it is. Sigh.
