A moment that time forgot

Sigh. Swoon. Ohmygosh. And all that stuff.

I've mentioned before that there was a very good chance, based on the thirty second clip, that Darren Hayes's new single "On The Verge Of Something Wonderful" was going to be a contender for my favorite song of the year.

Now, we have the video for it, providing the first opportunity to listen to the whole thing; watch it here.

I don't care what anyone else thinks (well, I mean it won't dissuade me; the more people that like it, the better, of course); I looove this song. The chorus is one of the most uplifting things ever (even if I sometimes expect it to be the bridge leading into something even bigger).

Plus, it's nice to see a video featuring lots of CGI that doesn't feel like it was mocked up in a media studies class by a seventh grader or that looks like it should be the trippy background Windows Media Player displays while playing songs, something that cannot be said for some other recent videos I could name.

it is very good indeed isn't it? I have sighed up for his fan club so i can get vip tickets to his tour later this year. I just might have to listen to it again. I am still trying to get over the beauty of Who Would HAve Thought and then i get this little beauty? Marv.

We are being spoiled :) You'll have to provide details about how the tour goes!

Thanks for putting that link up! Hadn't seen the video yet. Glad Janice Dickinson isn't featured too much in it....

No problem! You may have already heard the song, but I was super-excited to finally get to hear the full thing.

I only heard it live at the concert, not the album version. I'm getting the promo of the full album sent to me next week, though!
