I guess the change in my pocket just wasn't enough

I hated Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy," but the only thing wrong with the new single from soul singer Cee-Lo Green is the radio edit, "Forget You," which suffers from a poor word replacement choice.

The original, though? Solid gold.

I somehow avoided this song till the video was released. It doesn't seem like it has much longevity on my d'luvvly playlist of life, but it's charming enough. You tell 'em, Cee Lo!

It may be a passing fad, but frankly I thought it was impossible for me to get excited about anything in this particular retro style any more, so I guess it's nice to see a good song can shake off the baggage of a flooded genre.
