I wanna spend my nights and days...

...and the other Swedish pop-related thing I was looking forward to seeing this morning: the music video for Darin's "Breathing Your Love." Take notice, UK/US record labels: embedding isn't disabled despite the fact that it's posted on Darin's official channel.

I'm still completely addicted to this song, a fact which isn't alleviated by the fact that possibly my favorite part are those almost gasped-out "love"s which close out the song.

Oh God,I think Darin has a new big fan :) I've only ever heard this song and Desire (although I think I still prefer Aleksei Vorobyov's Russian version),but if they're anything to go by,then he's pretty cool :)

Oh gosh, I can't believe I never downloaded "New Russian Kalinka"--talk about a great song (though how on Earth it made it that far in a national final given that it pretty obviously wasn't Eurovision eligible I've got no idea). Added bonus of Aleksei being pretty darn good-looking. I need to go look it up...

I'd say this and "Desire" are two of Darin's best ever songs, but everyone besides me seems to like "Insanity" more than "Desire"--maybe worth checking out if you're looking for more, though Darin says this new album will be by far his best--let's hope yes!

aw sweet little Darin. THIS is the boy who sang B What U Wanna B? It's like a different person, but still amazing. So glad his career is still successful and the video is immense. And yes! What is it with "embedding disabled by request"? Surely videos are promotional tools for the music - it's out there and online, so it's not like blogs are posting something that can't be heard elsewhere. Surely they can't be scared that it will only get 100,000 plays on youtube instead of 100,050 because it featured on some blog? INSANIA! Oh no that's Peter Andre. INSANITY!

I think you ought to change the name of your blog from Poster Girl to "Darin's Girl"...

He is a hot piece though.

It's doing well on Swedish radio at the moment, I'd say, or at least P3 plays it a lot--hopefully it'll keep building!

I don't understand the point of it, Paul. I mean, surely music videos are intended to promote the music and that's all embedding allows you to do? I don't understand how preventing embedding has any positive consequences--the only thing it does is prevent as many hits for youtube.com, I guess, but it doesn't prevent the video itself from getting increased views; those still count. Well, maybe they pay for advertising alongside the video on YouTube and want you to see that, but EVEN if that's the case, surely it's better for the video to be more widespread and introduced to new people than for people who already know about the song (since they looked it up on YouTube, they obviously already knew about it) to see some additional ads.

It probably should be. But I'm fickle enough that in a month or something there'd probably be some entirely new obsession going on!

I'm glad "hot piece" is happening. Thanks, Rick!

Geez, what a hot jam! And who knew Tila Tequila was so big in Sweden? She looks great in this clip!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

I love it, it's a great vid, great song - Darin's looking great (Did I just say that?) and it's just great! Too much greatness!

It's a shame that the same can't be said for Miss Brit's new cover...

I guess she must've had some time off after A Shot At Love.

Aaron, don't worry, I'm struggling to come up with adjectives, too! Britney's cover is disappointing--I mean, it is possible it's kind of intentionally ironically sweet, but I'm not counting on it and with that title, there was room for such interesting imagery.
