I don't want a lot for Christmas...

I'd just finished making up the preliminary version of my pop Christmas music playlist when I saw this news and was too amused not to post it. Let's hope it all turns out for the best...

Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is obviously the best pop Christmas song ever, right? And yes, I listen to Magnus Carlsson's cover of it. But somehow, I'd never expected the next version of it likely to get playlisted by me would be a duet between Måns Zelmerlöw and Agnes Carlsson, both contestants from the same season of Swedish Idol. Apparently no one wants to talk about it, but Aftonbladet says they've heard it'll be coming out as a single in the near future.

Poster Girl, Poster Girl, Poster Girl...tut tut. How quickly we forget what the real best Chistmas song ever is.

Oh, J'ason, that can be second--now, if "Running Rings Around My Heart" was a Christmas song, then we'd have some competition.

Yay! I downloaded the song today, it's exclusively available on Expressen today.

They sound great together, and their version is a lot different than Mariah's. It's slower. I like it.
