Look at the horizon, just look at the stars babe

It's been two months and I am still OBSESSED with Take That's "We Love To Entertain You," which is apparently a version of a song a German TV channel uses for promotion, but don't let that put you off, because it's SO. GOOD (in a really sweet, melodic, unassuming way). I just searched and couldn't believe I'd never mentioned it on here after You Don't Know Pop posted it, but it's surely one of my favorite songs of the year so far, so go download it.

Virtually all of my favorite songs from the reformed Take That have not been real album tracks (b-sides, bonus tracks, TV songs), so I'm really looking forward to "Rule The World" from Stardust--if the pattern holds, I should love it.

Chylde, you and everyone else, re: "Rule The World"! When's that trash ever gonna come out? I think the label really missed the boat on it...

Love that "We Love To Entertain You" song!

I know! Maybe (at least for the U.S.) they were hoping the movie would be big enough that they wouldn't have to do anything...except for the fact that makes no sense. I would've loved them to get a hit here, too :(

i echo mr d'luv's sentiments. I ordered the soundtrack which came out Monday and was most annoyed to find no song on it. though the instrumental music is quite pretty (it's still going on ebay tho!) I think the record company are probably ignoring the US market and launching it when the film comes out in Britain in October...

Paul, I didn't realize it hadn't come out there yet?! So how did you see it? Ohhhh.... you little pirate!

PG, yeah, I was getting a lot of hits the whole first month that song was out, from people in the U.S. Googling info about the song. A shame it wasn't available to purchase at that time...

First off... STARDUST is the BEST movie I've seen all year!

2nd: At the end of the movie I stayed in my seat through the credits to hear the Take That song... its a really beautiful song... starts slow but the chorus has a great beat... i really enjoy it. Supposedly it will be their new single in the Uk when the movie is released there.

Yeah, at least for the U.S., it would've been nice!

Troy, I really want to see it (and not just for the Take That song), but it's not showing here! Argh! It needs to come out on DVD. Good to hear about the song, though.
