Welcome to my paradise

Ooo! Ooo! Ooo!

You can listen to previews of the songs on Måns Zelmerlöw's upcoming album Stand By For here (click on "Provlyssna")! You'll probably want to open that link in a new window.

Oh. My. Gosh. I need it now.

And "Maniac" is the Michael Sembello song. And I don't even care. I love that song and it fits in perfectly and the rest of the album sounds so brilliant that I don't know how I'm going to be able to wait.

Sigh...even if it leaks early or before my copy arrives, though, I'm not downloading it. I managed to resist for last year's most anticipated albums--can I manage with this one?

PG, did I tell you that the free daily newspaper Metro (which have local versions including L.A., Chicago, New York and other cities around the world) is running a contest? Win A Date With Måns For A Day! Get those entries in!

Someone really is listening to you! Me not knowing more than two words of Swedish can't be that much of an obstacle, right?

sigh. Mans. so perfect in every single way. it's a bit of torture not downloading the album (i have to say i succumbed with maroon 5) but actually cdon is pretty good at getting things to england fast. Bless them and all who sail in them! haha. It all sounds so perfectly perfect. My vocab is abandoning me in excitement. i stop now.

CDOn needs to start shipping to the U.S. Then maybe I could finally start buying those Nordic/Scandinavian albums I need to catch up on :)

Good for her :) And there really needs to be some sort of quick way to type all those symbols on Blogger--copying/pasting just doesn't seem worth it sometimes.

If you don't have a Swedish keyboard, there are two ways to get those special characters. The first one is to simply use the keyboard codes. To get (learn?) those codes, simply go to:

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map

On the Character Map window, you will see all the special characters. Highlight one and you'll see its code on the bottom right. Typing Alt+0229 gives you... å , while Alt+0246 gives you ö

(I'm assuming you have a PC and not a Mac).

But that's too lengthy IMHO. The best way to get those special characters is by switching keyboards. Go to your "Control Panel" and then click on "Regional And Language Options". Click on the "Languages" tab and then "Details". On the "Settings" tab, on the Default Input Language, choose "English (U S) - United States-International" from the pull-down menu. If it's not listed, you can add it by clicking Add below it.

To learn how to use it, just click here. So easy, a caveman can do it!

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have further Qs.
