Single step

This is the cover of Darin's new album.

That is all.

(Well, unless you think the "hypermodern, electronic R&B/pop" appropriate for the late '00s description tells us anything new.)

mmm a bit dissapointing... hopefully the booklet pics are better (and not in black & white?)

YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!

Really, is it that hard to get a nice shot? - They had plenty of good caps in the video they could have used....

I'm performing an intervention and sending you to Darin-rehab.

You've got me wondering about black and white now, Bas--we have seen at least one semi-similar photo in black and white...but I would be surprised for everything to be that way, I guess.

I like it, as a photo of him, a lot more than the cover for his last album, though, and I do like it, I think, I have to say. Like the fonts, like the photo--I don't know that I said "cover of the album" the first time I saw it, but I like the look of it.

Rick, I'm fine! I can stop any time I want! Really!

Pouts...

It's not a great cover. So much less colourful than the video and I'm immediately drawn to the graffiti that says "bi"...the label should reconsider it - they wouldn't want to send out the wrong message now by mistake would they?! Making Darin look like a street kid just isn't the image they should go for. He's too much of a proper popstar and deserves a little better art direction. Just my humble opinion...

I doubt they'll change it at this point, but I guess we'll see what the marketing is like for the rest of the album. I'm reassured by the existence of songs like "Road Trip" that this won't be all musically "street," though.

Oh, and as a general P.S., of course dissenting opinions are welcome!

Well - despite the cover, will still buy it of course. I hope he continues to make great colourful vids though for the rest of the singles.

Flashback is named after one of the songs on the album. A lot of people in the music industry is talking about this album. Saying that it will make Darin a worldwide superstar

Now that would be the day--I'd love that (assuming he follows through and this album is as great as it can be).
