I forgot to mention this yesterday, but there's
an interview with Linda Bengtzing over at
the Schlager Systems. Some highlights: her favorite song on her
Ingenting Att Förlora is "Medan Du Sov," she just recorded a song she'd like to take her all the way to Eurovision, and she wants her next album (coming out in 2008) to be in both English and Swedish.
awww 'Medan Du Sov' is also one of my favourites ^^
ReplyDeleteIt's an interesting choice from her! I like it and shouldn't be surprised at her saying that, but I sort of am.
ReplyDeleteit's 'cause 'medan du sov' is so not 'alla flickor' I bet Lindz is sort of tired of ppl thinking she's only into schlager, there're quite a few good,pop-rock songs on her album woth mentioning too
ReplyDeleteOh, no, that I get! But I'm surprised that it's not "Kan du se" or "Nu Kommer Jag Tilbaka" for some reason. I like her in schlager mode and pop-rock mode, though, so I do hope she doesn't suddenly go all one way (though I'd guess I'm in the minority--maybe with you?).
ReplyDeleteOr "Van Hände Sen," for that matter--like I said, I like "Medan du sov," but for some reason I'm surprised that was her particular favorite.
ReplyDeletewhat you think - would she quit schlager and go only for pop-rock if she had the chance to do so , I mean if she's doing schlager only 'cause of commercial success (they sell well i guess)and maybe deep down she dislike it ..?
