Helena Paparizou has a new song out in Greece. It's called "To Fili Tis Zois" (which I hear means "The Kiss Of Life") and you can listen to it here, apparently (I say "apparently" because my computer seems to have decided it doesn't want to cooperate with 95% of online Windows Media Player things at the moment; I have heard a low quality version of it elsewhere, though). YouTube also has
Charlotte Perrelli has a new (ish) song on her MySpace. It's called ""Jag är tillbaks"" (which is a nice promising title--"I am back") and, interestingly, when you play it, it says it's from 2008. It's uptempo, breezy, sort of disco-y, and I really like it. With "Som du," this brings us to two songs without an album (yet) so far.
Anyhow, Expressen ran an article about it yesterday and apparently it's about her troubles with Bert Karlsson. She was meant to sing the song in the 2003 Melodifestivalen, but I think it's message/background meant she wasn't allowed to. According to the article, the song will be released in a few weeks.

It says 2008 'cause the album will be out next year. And I don't think it's hundred yet if it will be released as as single this year.
Paparizou *really* needs to start chosing better songs (and make-up artists/stylists!). She hasn't produced anything interesting since "Mambo".
At least it's better than her rather terrible summer Greek-market single

The new song is from a movie sountrack. It's the second time this year she's had the theme song of a soundtrack. In spring, this OK-ish song was the theme of Greek TV series.

That's what I figured it meant! Great! And good to know about the single...though I'd love it as soon as possible from a selfish perspective, I do know choosing the right time is important.
I'm a little worried--maybe her next return to the English language will bring with it some better songs (though I don't know why that would be the case)? I hadn't heard either of those (thanks!)--hmmm...she's got a lot of popstar potential--I hope she comes back with a vengeance soon!
