I don't like it. I can see what they are trying to do. But it simply merges themes I've already encountered in epic videos by ViaGRA and of course Lady GaGa. I am being incredibly harsh............and the video IS amazing. Hopefully it will secure a high position for the girls. But, ViaGRA's videos trounce this.
I like it. I don't think I'd say it's "brilliant" like I was hoping for--the editing in the first half could be better (well, the editing throughout the whole thing could be better; there are too many close up shots compared to what I'd prefer) and, if that was fixed, they would have come closer to living up to the potential of the concept; in other words, it's another case of great concept with OK execution that isn't quite as good. Hmm, actually, the concept could have used some tweaking, too--say, a bit more time spent on the crash/what happens as a result--but some divine posing, the falling to Earth past the plane, and the fact that I (and I know this isn't true for everyone) got a real sense of sadness from it mean it's on the right side of good and bad for me. Cosmic loss and longing tends to be a winner in my books. It's "evocative" in the sense that it gets my mind churning with potential stories, even if there really isn't much plot here at all.
Your problems don't exist when music feels like this.
Songs are posted only for promotional purposes (I love them and want others to know about them, too)--if you like them, please "go out and buy the record"! If you are an artist, represent one, or are a songwriter/producer and would like your songs removed, I'll gladly do so (just let me know).

Yes, it is undoubtedly brilliant. The best video ever.
Okay, perhaps a tad controversial...
