You know I can't get over, no matter how I try

Sorry, I can't get the Scott Mills show to play at the moment, but I'll get up a better version of the McFly song (I hope) whenever that happens, though I expect it should be all over the Internet by then.

Anyway, quick Ola Svensson update: his new single "S.O.S." will debut on Rix FM this Friday morning (well, Friday morning in Sweden) at 7:30 AM. Oh, and the album, Good Enough, is officially out October 3. I really want to hear "S.O.S." to get an idea of what the rest of the album is going to sound like and to try to get a better idea of its quality.

While we're talking of Swedish albums, though, September's sure-to-be-fantastic third album Dancing Shoes comes out September 26, BWO's third album (excluding Halcyon Nights, which was all remixes) Fabricator comes out September 19, Da Buzz's greatest hits album comes out October 24 (if you've not heard much from them--and their albums are available on iTunes stores throughout the world, I think--it would be worth picking up, or at least thinking about), and Martin Stenmarck's fourth album Det är så pojkar gör när kärleken dör comes out November 7. Did I forget anyone?

(Still wish I knew something about what Tony Nilson was doing, though--his own album would be great, but failing that, I hope he's writing for people...)

I think HALCYON DAYS was the original album and HALCYON NIGHTS were the remixes, if I'm not mistaken. It's a banner month for Swedish pop for sure.

I have all the Da Buzz albums but I'm still looking forward to the greatest hits. "Stop Look Listen" is such a perfect mix of glacial ABBA brilliance layered with Eurodance snap and girlgroup singalong pop.

Sigh--I've got to start proofreading my stuff! Thanks for the catch--I'll go fix it.

I love "Stop Look Listen"! And have never understood the somewhat ambivalent reactions I've heard towards it. That's a heck of a fantastic description of it, too!

Oh, and as a P.S. maybe Shirley should be on the list? Pending a better idea of what the album will be like.

I think Tony is working with Ola on his album actually. I'm sure Ola's album will be fabulous, he's found his genre he says.

I doubt I'll be up at 7:30 on Friday though, I usually sleep till 12! LOL!

I hope so! I'm really excited to hear more from it.

Hah! I think 7:30 AM there is 1:30 AM here, so I'm really glad it'll be played on other radios after that!

Da Buzz's second single, "Baby Listen To Me", from their forthcoming GH album, debuted at No. 24 this week.

Meanwhile, 3+ months old "Prayer For The Weekend" by The Ark, was recently serviced to club DJs with new mixes by SoundFactory.

Meanwhile, it would be interesting to see how Warner continues to wreck Måns' career. The "promotion" for "Work Of Art (Da Vinci)" was non-existent, with no music video, and the single's artwork being identical to the album's artwork. Danny & Therese's "If Only", with its Trio rip-off, is off to a bad start...

Mmm, 24? Hope it rises...

Really (about the Ark)? That seems like strange timing, though I'm sure there must be a reason for it.

I wish he'd get one more solid hit out of it--I know "Cara Mia" was a monster hit, but it'd be nice to see him establish himself a little more beyond that, just for peace of mind if nothing else.
