Now what was that?

Once again, I'm pushing back my originally planned entry for a couple of random thoughts.

Thought #1: iTunes's free download of the week is "Sewn" by the Feeling! Amazing. "Sewn" isn't my favorite track of theirs, but it was a pleasant surprise to wake up to. After all, Daniel Powter was a free download, and look how popular his music became.

Thought #2: the Killers' new single, "When You Were Young," is now available on iTunes. Buy it! It needs to be in the top 100, preferably in the top 10.

Thought #3: the radio, when playing Rihanna's "Unfaithful," censors the word "gun" in the line "I might as well put a gun against his head." What?! Why? The song isn't really a favorite of mine, but since when can you not say the word "gun" on the radio?

Thought #4: how amazing is this song? Yes, I know I'm a bit behind, but I just got around to listening to it--it's definitely my favorite song of theirs. Normally, I'd link to where to buy this song, but it's not out yet, so, until you can buy it, head over to iTunes or, for US residents, MSN Music to buy their first CD.

Next up: I realize this is a really short and not particularly informative post, so maybe I'll make another one later tonight--possibly some musings on the Jonas Brothers and Busted, or the post I had originally planned for today; otherwise, tomorrow's post will probably be about one of those topics.

(Upon further reflection, "The Rejection" might still be my favorite, but I'm not sure...I'll have to wait a few more days before deciding.)

It's always nice to wake up to The Feeling - nice to see them getting some recognition stateside. I adore those white chocolate mocha no whipped chappies...
